ARC Launches Clinical Resources App
We are pleased to announce the launch of the ARC’s Amyloidosis Clinical Resources App for healthcare professionals.
This new app contains comprehensive disease overviews, diagnostic tools and current treatment protocols for the main types of amyloidosis as well as resources for physicians and patients. A collection of interactive tools, such as click-through diagnostic algorithms, novel agents and clinical trials provide additional information.
The Amyloidosis Clinical Resources App was developed to serve as a mobile resource for healthcare professionals faced with the complex clinical presentations of this rare and difficult to diagnose disease. It includes definitions, etiology, pathogenesis, clinical suspicion, diagnosis and treatment regimens for AL, ATTR types, Non-TTR hereditary types, and AA amyloidosis as well as a collection of interactive tools, novel agents and clinical trials. The app has been reviewed and approved by some of the leading experts on amyloidosis and will be updated on a regular basis.
Amyloidosis patients are encouraged to tell their medical teams about the new app and to advocate for all healthcare professionals to download and use this extensive resource.
It is available for FREE and can be downloaded to a tablet or smartphone from iTunes and GooglePlay.
